About the game

Created by Geoffroy Monde and published by Surefire.Games, the game follows an agent who can alter his appearance to impersonate people his targets trust. Each assignment starts with documents that reveal an identity, moves into facial reconstruction and ends with a conversation played through multiple-choice answers. A convincing appearance gets you close, but forgotten history or an inconsistent answer can expose you. There is no combat or time limit, so careful reading and your own notes are central to solving each case.

Legion Was Here Beginner Guide

Your first task is to understand the identity you must borrow. Work through the evidence before entering the operating room, and keep the person's history available for the conversation that follows.

  1. 1Summarize the assignmentWrite down your objective, your target and the relationship your disguise needs to represent.
  2. 2Inspect the whole fileRead every document and examine the photographs. Use the magnifier when small details are difficult to make out.
  3. 3Describe the required faceGather the appearance clues into a short description, then use it to guide your operating-room choices.
  4. 4Review the borrowed identityRevisit names, dates and shared experiences before answering questions as someone the target knows.

Legion Was Here Demo Walkthrough

The demo contained a tutorial and one complete mission. It was no longer listed on Steam when the full game launched on October 13, 2026. Its structure introduces the same evidence, disguise and conversation loop used in the full game.

  • Follow the tutorial's sequence

Use the introductory material to understand how document clues inform appearance choices and how those choices lead into an undercover conversation.

  • Prepare for the larger case

The complete mission brings a denser dossier. Read it once for the objective, then again for appearance clues and personal history.

Legion Was Here Dossier Guide

Evidence arrives in different forms, including photographs, letters, forms and seemingly ordinary objects. Compare details across the file to work out both the face and the life you need to imitate.

  1. 1Examine every piece of evidenceAn everyday object can carry a useful clue. Give wrappers and incidental paperwork the same attention as formal documents.
  2. 2Magnify unclear detailsInspect small text and visual features before deciding that a document contains nothing useful.
  3. 3Connect people and datesRecord who each name belongs to and how dates relate to that person's history. Keep the source beside your notes.
  4. 4Resolve gaps before transformingCompare uncertain details with the rest of the dossier. A face assembled from guesses leaves you poorly prepared for later questions.

Legion Was Here Conversation Guide

Once you reach the target, multiple-choice dialogue tests whether you can sustain the identity. Suspicion grows from mistakes in your performance, and a careless answer can have fatal consequences.

Legion Was Here Replay and Scoring Guide

You can repeat missions to improve your credibility score. A score of 100 percent represents a fully convincing performance, and missions can unfold differently on subsequent attempts.

Legion Was Here Gameplay Questions
